Includes sections on wheel-building and even on-the-go kit recommendations! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comprehensive book *by G***Y on 4 June 2024* Great book with index to find quick info about servicing and maintaining road bikes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good all-round maintenance manual *by K***N on 30 August 2016* As a beginner in doing my own bike maintenance, I felt I needed a thorough book that would cover all possibilities, but wasn't too technical. This seems the ideal blend, with plenty of information, lots of diagrams, and easy-to-understand text. Any words or terms I didn't understand are explained in other parts of the book. There is a comprehensive index, and a section on basic tasks such as all-over cleaning and checking of brakes, chain, etc., as well as much more on complicated tasks. My only problem with it isn't really the book's fault, as the gear system on my bike isn't included in this particular one, because I think I have what's called a "hybrid" bike. I may need to get the Zinn book on that type to get the information I need.
