Review: Seymour Duncan Slash PUPs - I bought these to replace the Seymour Duncan Vintage '59s in a mahogany bodied LP style guitar with a 3/4" maple cap, thru-body neck and ebony fretboard - a very bright guitar! The '59's were too bright with their Alnico 5 magnets, so I picked a pup set with Alnico 2 magnets (for less treble) and a little extra on the windings to improve the output.
