More advanced reading than stories. - My 7 year old son loves the Magic Treehouse books and these fact-trackers have been a big hit as a follow up. The reading level is a bit advanced over the companion stories. He can read them both with ease, but comprehension on these is a little harder as they get into scientific terms and non-fiction reading is just a little less familiar for him. I think these are books he will read and re-read (vs. the stories that he might not go back to). The Twisters Fact Tracker in particular was very interesting for him and our son loved sharing facts with the rest of the family for days!
