My cooker is operating just fine, and my cookware is safe. The epoxy adhesives are much stronger to fix the hinge but these products are resistant to temperatures up to 120'C. So far has lasted longer than a few more expensive sealants. A little bit messy but this is probably because it is black and more noticeable on your hands and anything else you might touch.
