It replaced QED Silver Anniversary Cable and to be honest, there is no difference in the Sound. The QED Cable was way more expensive when i bought it in 2008 and it's still expensive. Don't let Audio Buffs, Audio Shop Assistants or Online Reviews string you along, it's all Snake Oil. Save your money and buy this Cable, plus it's easier to manage, as it's not so thick. A: Yes, you can use it upto it's max 15m length at 14 awg. If you need longer, get thicker cables.

A: I've used this outdoors as it has a thick covering the actual wire. Been outside constantly for maybe 2 years now. I'm sure its not certified for outdoors.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap and Effective - a good product at a super cheap price

I've been gradually putting a HiFi system together with simple brief of good sound - don't break the bank. I have achieved this through buying used kit and some new old stock items. This cable fits well into my design brief as it is cheap, but works well. The cable is easy to cut and strip. It is not prone to twisting or tangling. It's quite thick so you will need to give thought to running in a non obvious manner (especially if bi-wiring) I'd like to talk about speaker wire in general. It's easy to fall in to the "more expensive wire is better for sound mindset" - especially if you seek advice from HiFi Bores. Now while more expensive wire MAY improve sound quality, you need to offset that against how much. Most people will be listening in an audio imperfect room - it will have hard surfaces, furniture, dogs and so on in it. Going for an expensive wire in a home environment may not give you a noticeable improvement, So don't worry that this wire is "cheap" it works well, is easy to work with.
