It’s a thermometer, it’s really easy to use, open it up, stick it in the thing you want to know the temp of and look at the display! There is an on/off button but it also turns itself on when you open it up and off after a few minutes when you close it. The read out if clear and you can change the readout between Celsius and Fahrenheit. I’ve not compared it with any other thermometers but so far I’ve not had anything more/less cooked than it indicated was going to be the case.

Not too much to say really. It’s a thermometer, it’s really easy to use, open it up, stick it in the thing you want to know the temp of and look at the display! There is an on/off button but it also turns itself on when you open it up and off after a few minutes when you close it. The read out if clear and you can change the readout between Celsius and Fahrenheit. I’ve not compared it with any other thermometers but so far I’ve not had anything more/less cooked than it indicated was going to be the case.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good price nifty thermometer

I've only used the thermometer a few times so far but it seems to work really well. It looks kind of plasticy when you take it out of the box but it's pretty nifty. I really like that it turns itself off when you clip the spike back so the battery should last a really long time, unlike many I saw when researching what to buy. The spike itself is thin so it doesn't damage the meat as it goes in. I found that it was quite slow in settling on a temperature at lower temperatures, but very quick (3-4 seconds) when testing something very hot. I put it in boiling water in the kettle to test it and it almost instantly went up to 100 degrees and stayed there. I found it difficult to get the spike out to use it the first time as it clips very tightly. I have to use a knife to lever it out which I worried would damage it but it seems to be OK. It arrived less than 24 hours after ordering which I was very surprised but happy about! I would recommend it as for the price you can't complain about appearance and it works perfectly well.
