When I go to wash the face brush/washer you can see there are lots of really small black pieces of what I can only describe as sand size or possibly smaller, so there is scrub in there. It is at a microbial level as apposed to other conventional scrubs and I find this combined with the moisturisers (doesn’t need to be the oil control moisturiser) work really well together.
