Previous to owning the wet brush it was always a fight and an argument to brush her hair either after washing or simply first thing in the morning. Now it is a simple case of showing her the wet brush and she is happy and content for me to brush her hair, I still have to brush it gently which is fine as now I can take each knot out easily and free from pain as the bristles are designed to simply glide through even a thick head of hair. I love this brush as the design and actual body of the brush is first class, the main body of the brush is made from a wood which is a pleasure to use as it sits in my hand comfortably plus I am able to grip it easily and without any discomfort. One main reason I do love this brush is in the past when I brushed my hair I would always have to clean the brush as my hair would end up clogging it up, now when I use this I would be lucky to see half a dozen of my crowning glory caught around the bristles as when I use this hair it simply brushes my hair leaving it smooth and tidy without any ripping of my hair shaft or pulling any hair out of my scalp.
