It has a delicious earthy taste of herbal tea. It is ground to a fine powder so it infuses very thoroughly and efficiently, with a nice deep red/brown colour. Using it this way is alot faster and easier than infusing the bigger chunks of Chaga. The method I use is to heat on a low/medium setting (i.e not boiling to retain the medicinal properties) for about 10~20 mins, until the tea is a nice colour, you will be able to tell when it's ready after a few attempts at making it. I do highly recommend this Product although the manufacturer should make available 100g packets.
