**Q: Is this pen metal or plastic?**
A: THe end is metal but the pen is lightweight and plastic, not what i was expecting.

**Q: Does this pen work with the long types of ink cartridge or just normal ones?**
A: Yes, I bought 'Parker S0881440 Quink Fountain Pen Refills, Long Cartridges - Pack of 15, Washable Black Ink' and they work great.

**Q: Is the stainless steel pen all stainless steel including the barrel**
A: The pen is stainless steel except for the mechanism holding the nib. Though the part into which you insert the cartridge is metal, the thread on the inside of the long handle is plastic. However, the likelihood of this breaking (as has happened to me with regular plastic Packer pens) is negligible because it is encased in the stainless steel which reinforces it. Still maybe don't over tighten.

**Q: Is the fine nib or medium nib more suitable for school when writing big essays?**
A: We can confirm that both the fine and medium sized nibs should be suitable for writing essays. The size only depends on the preference of the line width of the writer.

Beautiful pen, writes really smoothly and has a good weight to it as well so it’s really easy and smooth to write with!

I use these all day. They write just as good as expensive models: clean, smooth, nice, great ink flow, no smudges The fine nib is spot on for me, the medium is just a little bit too thick Doesnt come with a converter, they cost another fiver Only downside is they feel a little cheap, plasticky and flimsy compared to a "nice" pen like a waterman, but they also cost less than a tenth of those. So rating: 5*s for the price, but probably only 4 overall. Happy to recomend, but if you want a nice pen for under £20, get a 2nd hand waterman off ebay. Wont write any better but looks and feels a different class
