Its hard and thick like it should be. Scent is natural and mild (earthy/nutty) as it should be. I will be repurchasing this butter forever now. It's my second pot. This is the best quality shea butter and I tried few other brands before coming accross this one. Never buying any other shea butter ever again. Its my multipurpose skincare. I use it raw and sometimes I turn it into whipped body butter, mixing it with jojoba and castor oil, alove vera and some essential oils.
