The cream is a rich formula used to treat eczema and itching. The cream contains 66% Avene Thermal Spring Water. The balm is a little thicker and an "ultra-rich" formula used to also treat eczema and itching. However the balm only contains 56% Avene Thermal Spring Water. The products are almost identical in ingredients but the cream is lighter with more of the spring water, and the balm is a heavier/thicker emollient with a little less of the spring water. Well worth the price as the tube is massive !! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Miracle Cream! *by L***E on 16 April 2022* My husband really struggled with dry, red flakey skin on his face and after trying nearly all the creams on the planet they just left his face red and didn't do much and we came across this in France by accident. Originally a pharmacist recommended it for a UV reaction I had...it didn't work for that but my husband decided to use some on his face and after using it for a week or so there was a huge improvement. It doesn't leave his skin red like most creams and it actually stops the bumpy flakiness that he gets. It is quite a heavy cream and takes a while to actually rub into your skin but he uses it at night so that isn't an issue. This tube of cream actually lasts him about a year and a half as he only uses it on his face.
