For just over a tenner, I wasn't expecting much, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The unit consists of a small box, with a male VGA plug on one end, which also tails off to a 3.5mm auto input jack, and a HDMI port at the other. There is also a micro USB port (cable provided) which provides power to the converter whilst in use (so bear this in mind that you'll need a USB port or a plug socket with USB adapter near to where you are locating the converter).I've not used the device with the HP MicroServer yet but I've just tried it with my HP Latitude laptop running Windows 10 and it works with zero effort at all. Simply plug the VGA cable, 3.5mm audio cable and the USB cable into your device, and a HDMI cable from the converter to a monitor/TV and it's plug and play all the way.The quality seemed to be exceptional considering it's doing on-the-fly analog to digital conversion of the VGA signal, I ran my laptop at full HD resolution and noticed no signal degradation or artefacts whilst in use.For the money, I don't think you can go far wrong with this if you need to convert an older VGA-only device to HDMI, especially as this one also includes the audio input feature which is a nice addition. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Worked perfectly *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 February 2016* I recently replaced my two monitor setup with an ultrawide LG 34UM67 which, although brilliant, has had the unfortunate side effect of removing support for the old VGA standard. Because my HP Microserver needs VGA out I was on the hunt for a solution that would enable me to plug my server into my monitor as a secondary source in addition to my main desk which was plugged in via HDMI.Having tried a great deal of other adapters and converters all of which had to be returned as I was unable to get a signal to the monitor, I turned to the Patuoxun VGA to HDMI Adapter as a last resort before giving up. What do you know? It worked perfectly out of the box!Connecting the VGA adapter to the microserver utilising the VGA port and a USB port and then a standard HDMI cable from the adapter to the monitors secondary source this worked a charm. Key points are that this even functioned during the BIOS boot which was critical for use with the server and had no problems in Windows 10 at all. Probably worth confirming that I did not need to plug in the included mini jack cable for this to function which is just as well as the HP microserver has no sound card capability installed.Would highly recommend for how simple it was. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive shizzle. *by T***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 March 2019* It started off really fuzzy and uncomfortable to look at the screen. I was gutted, thinking my solution of bringing my little Shuttle into use rather than my laptop was a failure. All the resolution settings in the world could not very a viewable image.Tbe PC did an update, and when it restarted I was blown away!The picture quality was spot on. Everything works brilliantly and I could not really be any happier.There is no lag whatsoever.
