Easy to install, it’s the smart, durable, and cost-effective choice for professional-grade soundproofing. ## Description This self adhesive, rubber foam tape will stop structure borne noise in its tracks. It will also help you achieve Building Regulations Part E. It is perfect for applying to wall stud frame work or floor joists to assist in stopping the transfer of sound through walls & floors. The tape is ideal for isolating the floor boards from the floor joists & stud work from plasterboard. This method of decoupling is definitely the cheapest solution to combat your structure borne noise or flanking problems. Everyone knows that you need sufficient mass to stop sound travelling through spaces. However, mass on top of mass means that sound can travel through the structure (e.g. low frequency bass) as there is nothing to isolate the structure.
