Taking lactase tablets helped with things like chocolate but for most other things, they didn't work very well at all. After reading various Web sites, I learnt that some probiotics can have an effect on lactose intolerance, so first I tried another one whose name I can't remember. It helped a little but was no cure. Then later on I decided to try acidophilus and.. I think we have a cure! I used to take these years ago but stopped when it all settled down. I started taking these again 2 weeks ago, I take 2 a day in a morning after breakfast and they have really made a difference. I noticed a vast improvement after about 5 days and I'm still almost symptom free.
