Wicke 2 Rolls of 100 Shot Paper Caps, Each Containing 12 Reels of 100 Shot = 2400 Bangs

Very disappointed as all you get are two small rolls of caps.The advert implies that it is what you see in the picture.The "2400 bangs" it refers to are the INDIVIDUAL caps on the roll.Very misleading marketing and advert. I have made a complaint to Amazon.

I had read several reviews that suggested that you shouldn’t waste your money. But I chose to ignore them, as I so wanted my son to experience what I had as a kid.I even bought a Wicke pistol to maximise the chances of everything working as it should.The other reviewers were right. These caps are absolutely hopeless. Hardly any fired and the few that did just generated smoke with no discernible noise. I’d never expected this from a German brand.Staggeringly disappointing.

You get the two small rolls next to the big box, not the big box. It’s purposefully done to make you think you’re buying 100, as it says “of 100” in the advert next to a picture of a huge box displaying 100 on it. Why’s Amazon allowing this misleading advertisement? Rip-off, do not buy.

Buying them on Amazon is better, I can remember having to go to the corner newsagents and buy a roll or two at a time with my pocket money when I picked up my weekly comics......As others say very disappointing but kids are happy with them guess they don't know any different,Would sooner pay twice as much for a better product or is it some new health and safety law that makes them cut back on the amounts.

Loads of caps for a good price. Having fun with them. There's so much you can do with them with a little imagination. 👍🙂

The good thing about these paper caps is that you get a lot of shots in the rolls, and they are cheaper and more versatile than the plastic enclosed ones.You will get some that don't ignite properly and you should get more of a bang when using them with a cap gun. They store a lot in a roll and you can tear off the exact number of shots.They are good for hitting with a rock, striking like a match or putting into a cap bomb.Once you use them you get that wonderful smell of gunpowder; a must-have childhood toy.

Bought these so that I could pass on my old cap gun to my son who's just got into cowboys, they don't seem to be as good as I remember with only a 50-60% fire rate and even then you had to pull back the hammer manually.Maybe it's my rose tinted spectacles or maybe they use less powder or whatever than they used to.On the plus side when they do fire they still smell the same and because of the slightly dodgy success rate he's less likely to wake his little sister.

2 rolls, each containing 12 reels of 100 shots. They do not all go bang in the cap gun as you go through it. I agree they don't sound as loud as I recall from my childhood, but I am not sure if they are now carrying less gunpowder or it is just a matter of perspective. In any case, kids love it, find it entertaining, and they still have that wonderful smell that takes you right back to your childhood.
