I'm pleased to report that she is making a good recovery and I am sure that that is in part due to a daily dose of Krill Oil. Krill is an excellent source of Omega-3, especially Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), which both play vital roles in human neuronal structure and functioning. Krill oil is good for the brain, in my mother's case it appears to be helping with post sepsis induced cognitive and memory problems, by strengthening and aiding the repair of cellular membranes and enhancing their plasticity. I sourced Krill oil as it has lower lead content than most fish-oils. I researched the DHA and EPA content of various Krill oils and Livoa 3 Krill has a better content than most (hence it being slightly more expensive than other brands on Amazon). I, like my mother, am also taking Krill Oil daily and within 3 weeks I noticed a difference in my skin (much less dry) and my hair - it looks healthy and shines.I was emailed by Livoa Vital and asked to write a comment in exchange for a discount off my next purchase. However, the above comments are what I would have said anyway. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Very pleased. *by S***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 September 2017* Easy to swallow, no after taste and after 30 days have already seen an improvement in my hair. It is shinier and starting to look fuller. I also feel calmer and a bit more focused. I am hopeful that these benefits will increase as I take them for longer. The main reason for taking Omega 3 is for the well -documented benefits for heart and brain health and krill oil seems to be the best way to achieve this.
