I looked like I had drank too much Tango. As you can imagine this put me off. The problem was that I was aware of the great effect of pure carrot oil on the skin.I knew it was great for healing and brilliant for dry skin too. As someone who likes the sun on their skin and doesn’t like to hide away when the sun is out, I knew that I should be using something like carrot oil to help heal and rejuvenate the skin after UV exposure. I wanted the benefits of carrot oil, but I didn’t like the orange look! So, even though I had tried other products in your range – and been very happy with them – I deliberately steered well clear of your carrot Oil. That is, until last week. It was only when I was alone that I decided to try a little oil on my arm as a test. Immediately it looked orange and I thought here we go again!However I massaged it in and its colour faded very quickly. All that was left to see was a feint (and pleasant) glow on my skin. It was subtle and made me look ever so slightly tanned – and cheaper than false tan!  I was thrilled! This was exactly what I was looking for. It gave me all the benefits of carrot oil which I had read about and researched, without any of that horrible bright orange appearance. Yours is the best carrot oil product I have ever tried. I have actually thrown out other brands because I knew that if I put them on, I wouldn’t be able to go out that day!! I’d have to just sit in my room looking like a can of Fanta! With yours, I use just a little – which goes a long way – and I work it in and there is no bright orange look – just that healthy skin look.What I wanted most of all was the great antioxidant qualities of natural carrot oil which helps repair cell damage in the skin. I know that carrot oil is said to penetrate deeply, moisturizing the skin to a layer often missed by other oils. What some people don’t know is that it actually feeds the skin. Beta-carotene is a vitamin A precursor which provides only as much vitamin A as is required by the skin. It also has the property of helping eliminate excess water from the skin. So this product is exactly the one for me.I also should mention that I am careful about which products I put on my skin as I know some contain very nasty chemicals indeed, like Propylene glycol which is actually anti-freeze, or parabens and sulphates. On application it is easily absorbed with not too much of a greasy residue.It's slightly oompa loompa-ish in terms of colour, but that doesn't bother me since I use it over night. I've given it 4 stars since I have had a little break out after using, but I think perhaps I should have been using with a carrier oil, so will continue to use with sweet almond oil.It comes in a decent size bottle with an easy to use dropper.
