Review: Seems sturdy enough, works well with pcr tubes in strips - Haven't tried to autoclave them. But so useful when working with lots of pcr tubes!! I use the strips of 8 and they fit perfectly. Like to colors to distinguish them quickly in the freezer! Will update if I have problems with them.

A: No these are made for PCR so it fits either 0.5ml or 0.2ml tubes.

**Q: What's the diameter of each well?**
A: I don’t know but they fit PCR tubes, 0.5ml and 0.2ml.

**Q: Are these suitable for deep freezing? (-80 degree celcius)**
A: Yes, it is suitable for -80 degree celcius

**Q: Will these accommodate .5ml tubes?**
A: Nope. Only 0.2mL tubes.

Haven't tried to autoclave them. But so useful when working with lots of pcr tubes!! I use the strips of 8 and they fit perfectly. Like to colors to distinguish them quickly in the freezer! Will update if I have problems with them.

If you only need something to store tubes, this is an Okay product. I miss the hinge like that of Heathrow Scientific one, which adds some stability when you move it or grab it.
