Used them in my number plate lights and interior lights and provide an excellent light coverage compared to cheap leds I bought that were utterly terrible. As L.E.D's may not light up because they are the wrong way round I put my sidelights on, removed the bulb with a cloth and just touched the contacts to see if it lit up. If they do then the bulb goes back, if not rotate it 180° and it should light up. They are very bright! Exactly as I wanted. It is a white crisp light. BEAR IN MIND: These are NOT 360° light output. (Think torch rather than a house light). These are more than suitable for map lights, side lights, number plate lights where the END of the bulb is over the place needed to be lit up. If the current bulb uses the SIDE of the bulb to cast light, then these will struggle to do that. It's just how they are designed. For that you'll need bulbs that have the L.E.D. chips at the tip and down the side of the bulb. As they've just gone in today only time will tell if they last.
