BTW I only use one at a time in my left ear as I have a heart condition and now always sleep on my right side for safety ; as my right ear is always on the pillow, this blocks out any noise in that ear so I can get away by only using the one per week! **Q: How do you fit these? I have tried every way but the noise doesn't seem to get locked out at all.** A: I just mould them into a cone shape and push them in. They adapt to the inner form of your ear and stay put. They will not block out ALL sound but they dull it down so it no longer so annoying. My bedroom is over the front door and if someone knocks while I'm having a lie down I do wake up, but just turn over and go back to sleep! They still held their shape and stayed inside my ear securely, however don't feel like they are lodged. They are very gentle on the ears. I've been using them for over 10 years now as i work nights! Because it's only me that uses them, i tend to use them around 2 - 3 times before i discard them. I can't hear a thing with them in and, quite honestly couldn't do without them!
