No more, "Any chance of a brew, luv?" from your builders.
This is a very good tea urn and no assembly was required. It heats very quickly and looks good. and the water delivery is accurate and doesn't spit or splash--we all remember those college tea urns that spat and spluttered, and where you'd jump each time you were hit by the scalding water. This is not like that. The only slight criticism is that I feel the quality of the plastic tap is not as good as the overall urn quality; it has a bit of a flimsy feel when you flick it down into its permanent open position, and I'd like something just a little smoother in its action, and with less of a jolt. But it works fine and is responsive. The urn holds 20 litres so, that's a lot of teas! Perfect for a cafe, for your builders if you're having renovations done (no more, "Any chance of a brew, luv?") and it seems cost-effective, staying warmed on a very low setting once it's been heated.

Great if you need boiled water on tap
Bought the 20l model as our home boiler was broken and needed hot water until we got a new one... it's a great urn and we did just about manage to have very shallow baths with it. I've given it away now as it's too big to have on all the time (obviously can't move it when hot) and the only pet friendly place we could put it was the kitchen, blocking some cupboards. Considering getting a smaller one for general use, as especially when working from home it's nice to be able to quickly get a tea or coffee without waiting for a kettle to boil.

Water Urn
Great item, fast boiling and a good size for the cup to go under. Quiet and simple to use

This is good
Purchased this for the workplace. Constant temperature and holds enough water to keep the whole team happy. Takes around 5-10 minutes to reheat if topping up with a few litres. The only thing missing is a level measure? Taking the top off to check the level is a little inconvenient but other than that, lovely finish and works well.

we thought that it would be very useful and quicker than boiling Kettle after Kettle to make ...
Yes it looks as if this will fit the role for which it was ordered , my Wife hires out Vintage China ( [email protected] ) and coping with sometimes up to a 100 people ,we thought that it would be very useful and quicker than boiling Kettle after Kettle to make that amount of Tea ! My Wife recently did a Charity Afternoon Tea party ,catering for 68 people ,which was very successful ,but we had to borrow a Tea Urn , so we ordered this model and it will be put to good use .

This is the second urn we have brought. The last one lasted 8 years, but this one hasn't lasted a month. We have replaced the fuse but that hasn't solved the problem. Please advise on warente. thank you

A good buy
I purchased this small urn to use in our Church. It came within 24 hours of ordering and was well packed and delivered as requested. It looks good and is just the right size for our needs without being heavy to carry.

Anyone for tea?
Excellent. We bought this for our guests at daughter’s wedding of 120 peeps. Bought IKEA mugs and turned out so much cheaper than hiring or our caterers wanted the earth. Already sold it on facebook and half the mugs gone already. Everyone loved the personal touch as you can add sugar cubes, different teas, coffee and decals. Lovely piece of kit as they say
