There isn’t a lot of powdered gravel when in the bottom of the bag so they are quite robust. You need to rinse the gravel before use and I did this until the water ran clear. The gravel pieces are lots of different colours. I’m happy with the amount I paid for the bag and I’ve got enough left to put on top of my pond plants. I would recommend this.
