Review: Worked perfectly, fed our fish for our week away - We only recently got our fish at the beginning of this year so when we booked a little holiday it was the first time we had to think of feeding them while we were away. I'd heard about feeding blocks so had a look on desertcart and came across this it seemed perfect for what we needed it for. I got it on prime and it was delivered the next day luckly was I had left it to the last minute and we're going away they day after. I put it in straight away to check the water was OK and that the fished were ok with it which they were. We went away for a week and have seven fish 3 goldfish and 4 smaller fish I've forgotten what they are but they were all fine when we returned and they looked happy and most importantly they were all alive!! There wasn't much left of the block when we returned so I'm not sure I'd use it for longer than a week just to be on the safe side. If we go away for longer I would get someone to come in half way through to replace the block still much easier than getting someone in daily to feed them. I would really recommend this it did the job fed the fish, the fish were happy and the water was as clear as before we left.

**Q: Is this suitable for a fish bowl without a filter?**
A: Mine had a filter. It fed the fish well the water was cloudy, so expect it will be cloudier without a filter

**Q: Can the fish have this if im not going away?**
A: Yes-  it’s food! 
However , I wouldn’t use it continually instead of standard foods

**Q: My fish is not eating from it. What am I doing wrong?**
A: Renata, my fish didn't eat from it , but i think it just dissolves and they consume tiny particles of it - i left 6-7 fish for a week with one in the tank and they all survived, so assume it worked

**Q: How many fishes does it feed?**
A: I bought it to feed about 15-20 fish for 7 days. When I got back they were all still alive and healthy, the water quality was also good

Honestly, I have tried a few different holiday food blocks for my tropical fish in the past. But this product is definitely my preferred. Doesn’t completely dissolve, but the tank water stays cleaner than with other fish food blocks. Would recommend you try it for yourself.
