I am a ghd user but found that the performance of mine was not as good as they could be. I reviewed similar item on here but this was £3 more so i figured i would order this one. My hair is very thick and long and very strong. Lucky in some respects but a frizzy mess when i wash it . Neither straight nore curly. I must mention that i ordered a pair off shark, madami steam straighteners months ago and still no item and SHARK are ignoring my emails. £69 lost and i feel robbed. I can't afford to loose that amount of money as like most people every month is a struggle . Anyhow, my item from good old amazon was quick and efficient as always and i just love this product . Smooth straight soft shiny hair in half the time. I always have to layer my hair in lots of sections and i used to have to run the wand at least four times on one piece of hair . I can now do one piece twice and move on. The steam compartment is easy to refil and no hassle at all. I have just used tap water and hey presto, my hair is now fabulous . If you struggle with thick hair and want shiny locks then buy this product from amazon. Dont risk companies who you dont know.
