I ordered a medium resistance band as it's the first resistance band I've used, and it's perfect for a beginner, but I have a feeling I'll be needed a heavy resistance band soon as it is fairly stretchy despite not being the lowest resistance available. The band itself is great quality and made out of a smooth light-weight rubber material, so feels very comfortable against the skin or through clothes. It feels very durable and long-lasting, and whilst a bright colour, isn't garish or 'in-your-face' so I feel comfortable using it at the gym. I'm using it to give an extra oomph to my squats/glutes workout, which it definitely does - as well as complementing the usual squats, having the band opens up a huge range of exercises.
