Perfect for frozen meat, I do not recommend with unfrozen meat, have not tried with solid cheese, it should be no problem.You will still need to use a knife and chopping board for the last chunk, about 5-6 remaining slices. I opted for manual over electric as it seems safer. 'V' metal plate could be designed better to get full use of length of blade or even a longer blade altogether, but that can be removed. The only problem appears to be the suction pads, they could be stronger and bigger, they arrived a little deformed so back ones do not stick very well to worktop. The handle gripper is pointless, best to wear gloves.Item comes with two blades, one attached and one spare. Sliced through for large chunks of beef in no time at all, pork even with the skin on was a doddle.
