I do thoroughly clean it after each use by letting it soak in a pail of clean water and then vigorously agitating and shaking it out before running it under a faucet for a minute or two. Definitely going to get a second one soon. Update: I just added a picture of this mitt after 9 months of use, super happy with it to this point.
