Would not recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Anyone with icthyosis knows it normally comes off in annoying little flakes that get everywhere *by P***R on 14 November 2015* I was very skeptical about this lotion, having had icthyosis for my whole life, but I've tried so many lotions that I thought I may as well try one more without getting my hopes up. Because it is so expensive for a 200ml bottle, I thought I'd test it on my right shin and my back initially so it could stretch to the whole 28 days. However I was surprised by how well it rubs in. It's quite thin lotion so a little goes quite a long way and two pumpfuls does my leg. After a week of using it, I noticed all the skin on my back starting to peel off in chunks. Anyone with icthyosis knows it normally comes off in annoying little flakes that get everywhere. Within 2 weeks, the patch on my back that I'd used it on looked and felt like healthy pink skin rather than the grey flaky skin I'd always had. It feels softer and less dry, although it's still a little bumpy and not smooth like a normal person's skin is. But for me, it's as good as I could have hoped for. I've not seen as good a result on my leg yet but now I am seeing an effect, I am going to buy two more bottles and just do my whole body once a day. A word of warning, after a bath where you've scrubbed your skin, it can be quite stingy to put the lotion on. I felt like I'd rolled in nettles the first time. So now I wait about an hour after a bath before applying it. Also, wash your hands after putting it on. I accidentally left a little between my fingers where the icthyosis is very minor, and all the skin peeled off. Very raw and sore. But overall I would really recommend it. You can see in the image where I put the lotion vs where I didn't. This was about a week in.
