Review: Miles above similarly priced options - I've been using lavazza qualita rossa as my daily coffee for a while now but needed to cut back costs, decided to try this out after seeing some reviews mentioning it was good for the price, I think that's underselling it, I think it's a nice cup of coffee full stop Didn't know about the brand, assumed it was an desertcart brand but upon looking it up I found out they're a supplier of la place, a Dutch restaurant chain that has good coffee (and the Netherlands knows it's coffee) It's great, just overall a very deep tasting and smooth coffee and one I want to drink at any time of the day, it's also a coffee that works however you make it, I've made it black with not much sugar for people and they've loved it, myself, I make it with whole milk and sugar, occasionally as a Latte and it's also capable of being beautifully creamy and rich Bare in mind though, this is coming from someone who tends to prefer robusta arabica blends than 100% arabica That said, even if you typically avoid robusta I'd recommend giving this a try, I find it to be a more layered and deeper tasting coffee than a lot of other mainly robusta coffee I've had, not as harsh, more mellow tasting while still having a nice strong flavor Even if this had been the same price as the coffee I'd been buying I'd have been happy with it but for £9 pounds a kilogram it's crazy good for the price and I'm happy to have found a new daily cup of coffee that's cheaper than what I was using but isn't sacrificing the taste Can't recommend it enough
Review: A Balanced and Sustainable Coffee Worth Trying - I recently tried Pelican Rouge Concerto Coffee Blend and was impressed by its quality and taste. The beans are roasted to perfection, resulting in a smooth and well-balanced flavor that's perfect for starting the day. I was so impressed by the coffee that I decided to sign up for the monthly 'subscribe and save' option offered by desertcart. What I appreciate most about Pelican Rouge Concerto Coffee Blend is its versatility. It can be enjoyed as a hot or cold drink, and its flavor holds up well in lattes or other coffee beverages. The fact that the beans are sustainably sourced is also a plus, as it aligns with my values. Since signing up for the monthly subscription, I've had the pleasure of enjoying the coffee on a regular basis, and it's become a staple in my morning routine. Overall, I highly recommend Pelican Rouge Concerto Coffee Blend to anyone looking for a high-quality coffee that's both delicious and ethically produced.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Hi, can anyone confirm if these beans are organic and/or free from pesticides and agricultural chemicals?**
A: buying these beans, you are not paying anywhere enough for all of that reinsurance.

**Q: Hello. I am new to buying coffee beans. How many beans do you need to grind for a cup of coffee?**
A: I think it’s about 45 beans per cup. I use a grinder to fill up a tin which amounts to about 30 cups. Buying a 1 kilo bag of beans and grinding it yourself is the cheapest and best way.
Hope this helps.

**Q: Can this coffee be placed straight into a cafetiere or would it need to be grinded first?**
A: This is a coffee bean & yes needs to be ground, if you start grinding your beans you'll never go back to pre ground coffee powder, grinders are very inexpensive off Amazon & you cannot beat the smell & aromatic scents nevermind the taste that will wake your senses instantly, get that grinder👍♥️

**Q: How long are the expiration dates?**
A: Mine says 01/06/19

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smokey and smooth.
*by A***J on 21 July 2020*

I am a suckler for coffee, I drink it daily and I love freshly ground. But some coffees are an absolute fortune to buy, upwards of £30 for 1kg of beans. The Pelican Rouge coffee showed up in my feed after browsing a few other brands, and the value for money along with the flavour profile - I had to cop. And this coffee is fantastic. It is smooth, and smokey in flavour. I get dark chocolate notes too. For £9 per kg, this coffee is a must-have. My partner, not as much as a coffee lover as I am, didn't particularly like it so it may not be for the faint of hearts. But if you like a good, hearty coffee to have in a drip or a cold brew, you need to try this.
