What's the final verdict on reliability???** A: I have had no complaints. While my x108g is used mostly mobile. I have made contacts all over the US and Europe on SSB. I have also used it at my home QTH when my primary radio had to go to hospital. Both voice and digital it works well. Note: Run on lower power on PSK31 and such as they are 100% duty cycle TX, and the radio will get warm. It will be difficult to find something on the market to beat the price. **Q: so does this fit where the radio would and does it have a cb band on it or is it just ham** A: TX. Ham radio only. Can receive CB, but a decent CB set is much cheaper. **Q: what frequencies will it transmit on** A: All HF Amateur bands including the WARC bands. **Q: will this radio tx/rx out of band? i.e. on marine ssb freqs, mars/cap, etc?** A: Stock it will not. If the display frequency is not in a Ham band and you try to transmit, the screen literally displays "Not a Ham Band" and will not transmit.
