To operate the light you need to click the button multiple times to get it into the mode that you want and to shut it off it isn’t like newer ones where you can just hold the button down and it goes off. The timer simply lets you know how much battery life you have left on a particular setting. If the light is set on “low” then your battery life will be longer and if set on “high” it will be shorter. As you change the light intensity setting you will see the battery time remaining change accordingly. **Q: Do we have to charge it fully for the front light to work.
