No changes to the RR dash readout and then keeps dropping same sensor every 30 minutes. Have to turn off the main unit, then back on, for 30 minutes. Off it goes again...Nothing further to add to this, returning unit complete. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wicked *by L***E on 16 August 2018* Ordered this and works exceptionally well, 8 months later I ran over a screw and couldn't get a sensor off so I accidentally broke it, got in touch with Ezonetronics asking them to replace a sensor in which I am willing to pay for, without hesitation they sent me a whole new kit, unbelievable, highly recommended, buy this item, a life time guarantee. ### ⭐⭐ USE COPPER GREASE! Does the job but poor instructions and "anti-theft" nuts do not work. *by J***N on 15 December 2017* Edit After two months use: I have had to deduct more stars from this review. Having been able to reliably and accurately watch the pressure in my FR tyre slowly drop, I came this weekend to top it back up. Except two of the sensors have completely seized onto the tyre valve. After lashings of GT85, pliers, grippy gloves and lots of swearing, I managed to get one off. The other is still holding firm though. I expect I'm going to need a new valve and may never recover the sensor. Moral of the story - it is ESSENTIAL to apply some grease to the threads on the tyre valve before fitting these sensors!!My alloy wheels are a little worse for wear and one in particular sporadically loses it's pressure. I have wasted a couple of tyres on it now after inadvertently driving on too low pressure and damaging the side-walls. This £40 gadget means I can more easily keep the pressure topped up and can save money to one day replace/refurb the wheels instead of having to prematurely replace tyres!!The device does the job, although instructions leave a lot to be desired. I managed to work it out eventually, but not before lots of head-scratching.Part of setting the device up includes 'teaching' the unit which sensor is on which wheel (which begs the question why they need FR,FL,RR,RL emblazoned on them so boldly). I don't recall exactly what the instructions said - "apply vent" or something - basically, unscrew the dust cap slightly to release some air! The device peeps and move onto the next wheel.Using the device is simple enough, turn it on, allow a few moments for readings to be made (which can be done on the move) and turn off again.Sometimes it can take a few minutes for a reading to come through (often I find travelling forwards at slow speeds gives the quickest readings) it's usually possible to work out by comparing individual tyre temperatures and outside air temperature if you car has a gauge for that, and work out whether the readings are accurate or still updating.Even in bright sunlight, the unit's battery level drops while it's left on. Simple enough to turn it on at the start of a journey, let it take readings and then turn off.In terms of accuracy, I'd say it's pretty spot-on. The temperatures tend to match the cars thermometer after it's been sat, and the pressures match the reading given by a pressure gauge or compressor when I have come to top them up.I also found the anti-theft nuts completely redundant. I followed the instructions but fail to understand how they could prevent the sensors being stolen if someone wished to do so. In the end they are more of an inconvenience as they will prevent an air line being tightened onto the valve stem without the nuts being removed too - often after they have seized with road grime and require a spanner to be loosened.
