Waistband is thick and soft, very comfortable on my skin. I love the double layer gusset. These feel very full-coverage while still being light and stretchy. In leggings or skinny jeans, the legs roll up slightly, so there are lines, but they're not too obvious. My issue is with the sizing of the waistband. For reference, I'm 5'4", 143 lbs, 30.5 inch waist. According to their size chart in the description, I should fit into a medium perfectly. I ordered a L and had to return for an XL and it's still pretty tight in the waist, creating a bit of a muffin top on days where I'm bloated or after eating. I could've gone xxl, but I worry that the legs would've been a bit loose. Because of the extra tight waistband, these definitely would not be a good fit for pregnancy or after a C-section. Overall, I'd recommend them.
