I bought this for my son's ninth birthday, and have not given it to him yet, but I'm sure he'll go nuts for it. The gear system seems pretty simple for a kid to use. Total assembly time was about 30 minutes, and all the tools were included.

Easy to put together but great looking bike. Only thing we are missing are the brake pads for the front. I don’t want to return the bike because of that. My kid loves it
