The slightest little bump and they chip. Plus, the last ones I had were white with fake wooden handles. Went so good with my white and wood kitchen but I live in an add on room without running water and can't always wash them right away. And they stain if you don't wash them right away. And they can't take high heat. They're turning brown from the heat. I have a set of stainless-steel pans I got at Ikea for $10 bucks several years ago and they are fabulous! Just a bit small. These are a bit bigger. I like the sauté pan with the deep sides a lot (I wish it had a standard frying pan handle, tho). It's the one I've used the most. And for some odd reason, I am in love with these lids. The inside lip part is different than any other pan I've ever owned. I did a first use 'seasoning'. Yes, they do stick sometimes. Especially for me when I can't wash them right away. But a short soak and it comes right off. Bar Keepers Friend helps a bit with getting off some of the blueing that happens with heat and keeping them shiny. The stay cool handles are great. I can put them in the oven. No worries about chipping. I'm very pleased with them.
