Good price and performance, but only for a very short life, but supplier provided free replacements, which look good, so far.
I've only had these bulbs for a short time, but I'm quite impressed withthe quality and brightness of them especially considering the fairly lowselling price.Obviously I can't comment on reliability until I've had them in use forsome time, but I'm very pleased with the results, so far.Update after seven months. Eight out of ten have failed completely. They may be cheap and effective, but life is poor as they've only been used in bathrooms with occasional use, probably not had much more than 100 to 200 hours on average before failure. Not at all impressed and will not buy again.Further update, after 12 months use. After nine failures I contacted the seller and explained my lamps high failure rate. They replied promptly and offered a full refund or replacements. I asked for replacements as I beleive the very high failure rate was because of a bad production batch. A box of 12 promptly arrived, which I am now putting into use. So 0 out of 10 for reliability of original batch and 10 out of 10 for brightness and support from supplier and I hope this latest batch proves more reliable. I would certainly buy from this supplier again and couldn't ask for better support.

Long Life?
The box states 22.8 year life based upon 3 hours/day. Is that per bulb, or for the whole box? That would be about 25,000 hours. It's been just over 2 years now and in the past week, I've had 2 bulbs fail, ie, go very dim. Maybe they're on even as much as 8 hours/day, which would still mean they should last around 8 years, not just 2 years. Maybe, the two free units were the two that failed, I guess we'll see in the next few years (or months, or days)? I'll post an update as the saga continues.

Buy these bulbs!!
These are quite possibly the best thing since sliced bread. I have a very large Farmhouse kitchen with extremely high ceilings and have been struggling with numerous halogen spotlights never giving enough light for years......let alone the cost. I am over the moon with the transformation these bulbs have achieved, they give off a clean, bright white light but don't glare and far brighter than the old school GU10. The light also has a lovely daylight feel to it, a very natural feel. I need a good source of light for my work and for the first time ever I can actually do some of my in the kitchen rather than a rather cold workshop, the fact that my electricity bill is going to plummet is another huge bonus.I really can't recommend these more highly and only wish I'd come across them sooner!

Great bulbs, brilliant value for money
Have 16 lights in the kitchen that had started to fail after 4 years or so; figured they might all end up going at similar times so looked for replacements. These were as close as I could get in terms of light colour, angle, power etc. at a sensible price, so took the plunge.Arrived today and they are excellent - ever so slightly different in the angle of light throw, but with some careful management of which bulb goes where you can't tell that we have two different manufactures bulbs in use and will eventually move over to these as the long term bulb.Great value for money compared to what I would had to pay to replace with the same bulbs we originally used - these work out at around just 20% of the cost of what we would have paid.

They are not to good to be true!
I recently replaced the 12 GU5.3 Halogen bulbs in my kitchen as their transformers were failing one after the other. I replaced them with GU10 LED bulb units. However the replacement units were dimer than the Halogens and the light had an orange tinge. After a couple of weeks I decided I couldn’t live with the orange tinge and decide to change them. The WhozzEco's spotlights got excellent reviews and were very cheep at £20 for a dozen (£1.67 each alleged 59% saving). They were also Energy Class A+++ (claimed to save £100 a year compared Halogens based on 6hrs a day use) and giving 400 Lumen for 5w power consumption. It all seemed to good to be true. I ordered them Saturday afternoon and they arrive Sunday morning and proved to be every bit as good as they promised. The light quality was excellent and unlike some LED lights they were no longer than the originals so fitted the holders well. A leaflet in the box explains WhozzEco is a one man show and he offered 2 free bulbs for feedback.Giving this product 5 stars was an easy decision.

Here they are - these are the ones you should buy........
Changing from halogen lighting to LED is a sensible move; your lamps are going to last far longer, and cost phenomenally less to run. Thus, you are helping your pocket and also our environment. However, until recently, the cost of the LED lamps has been somewhat prohibitive meaning the ‘pay-back’ period wasn’t really worth the expense – UNTIL NOW! The people from WhozzEco have done lots of research and have sourced these unbelievable value for money GU10 lamps. If you are looking for GU10 LED’s – then these are the ones you need. Great quality, good looking, superb light output! I certainly will come back to WhozzEco when I’m looking at my next lighting project.

WOW Now that's BRIGHT
Just popped in seven lamps into my hallway light fittings andnow I see I'm going to have to wet/dry vax the carpet! The hugedifference these bulbs has made is amazing. I recently painted thehallway and the paintwork really stands out now I can really see it.Also all the pictures and photos on the walls are really bright, mega brightand clean looking. A well worth investment into LED lighting compared tothe yellowish expensive halogen variety and apparently quids in.Update:Now nearly 3 years since I fitted these and have lost just TWO out of the 12 I bought. Very pleased with this just ordered another 12 to keep in stock at home.
