The larger sizes of the balls look pretty good, but the smallest are pretty flimsy and I don't think will last long. Perhaps comments from the manufacturer on why they are so small would be useful I had good results with using the larger globes taking a cutting from a climbing rose in about 6 months and particularly pleasing rooted a branch of a particularly nice acer which has given me a well rooted plant over 12 inchest tall.
