RYOBICCG1801MHG ONE+ Caulking Gun, 18 V (Body Only)

Always pay attention to what you do. As this is a great bit of kit but even though i read the instructions i did not adjust the speed of how much comes out. Not Ryobi's fault mine alone. It was like Winne the pooh in the honey jar every where. :)

I’ve got loads of Ryobi cordless kit and I’d looked at this a number of times, deciding each time that the cost (seemed expensive for what it is) was not worth it. How much easier and better could it make caulking something? So I eventually ‘gave in’ and bought it and now wish I’d bought it years ago. It really does make the job easier, quicker and you can get a much neater finish. That’s because you don’t have to concentrate on the amount of material you’re using because you set that before you start the job. It’s not particularly heavy but it can be a bit awkward in tight spaces because of its bulk. It loses a star because although it’s great, it’s still too expensive for what it is. Having said that, I would buy it again.

When you’re doing caulking it’s always a nightmare and by the end of it you end up with your hand aching from squeezing the trigger on the cheap caulking gun. This one is amazing, yes it’s expensive but worth it as it takes always the pain and reduces the time taken to do those laborious diy jobs that can make or break what a room looks like. Since buying this, it’s a fight in our house over who does the caulking just so they can use this tool! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Makes it so much easier and more accurate.

Used gun and in 9 of 10 tubes of adhesive for fixing wall cladding, the base of the tubes burst and the remaining contents unbeknown to me oozed out to cover the thrust rod and rod teeth making cleaning up a time-consuming pain. On checking more closely, I found there gun is for 310ml tubes and mine were 300! A subsequent survey of the market, found that most tubes of adhesive or mastic are 280 or 300 ml rendering the gun useless. Great idea, but very limited application. Presumably that's why it's called a calk gun!

What I bit of kit this is in the ryobi + one collection I’ve got just trying it out now and works great different settings slow and fast the fast one isn’t all that fast nice and seddey

My hands could no longer use the manual gun, so I nearly gave up decorating. But this is amazing!Only downside is the size and weight is quite cumbersome and struggles in small spaces and not able to angle well, but since that is a minor part of decorating… I still say it’s brilliant!
