There are none of the pretty pictures that fill up most dog books. The layout is unusual as it is month by month as the puppy grows with behaviour, training and advice for that age. This could make dipping into the book for specific questions difficult, but the index is good to help in this matter. The book is American so some things like qualifications for professionals and legal matters are different for UK readers.
