The other loft hatch was in the hall which also ajoined our bedroom, so we closed the bedroom door and opened the windows wide in there too. The smell hung around for 2 days and unfortunately, the smell still got into our bedroom because it seeped through our downlighters in the bedroom ceiling - so if you have downlighters, do tape up around them first, to seal them really well, before lighting the bombs, and make sure no one turns the lights on while they are taped up, to prevent electrical accidents!! It took a few minutes for the smoke bomb to really smoke, but I would advise that the person lighting up the smoke bomb, wear a mask just in case, especially if they are sensitive. Could you order it for delivery to the address you are headed for? Or ask the airline. **Q: Would these bombs to ues in loft as i have furniture up as it it done out like flat for family** A: So long as you close the space for 24 hours then I don’t see why these won’t be fine. I set them off in our loft space and leave for 24 hours. I do this twice a year in March and October and this has dramatically reduced any cluster flys in this space **Q: Is it safe to to use around plants?** A: Personally, I wouldn't. its a fantastic product and cleared 0000's of cluster flies living in our loft. **Q: are they safe to use in an attic space?** A: I have used them in an attic space. Once lit there are fumes but no real flame and little heat.
