Fulton makes good umbrellas, but this one uses the cheap half-circle bent metal spokes that you find in poundland umbrellas that get destroyed by the first gust of wind... it just doubles up (2 metal spokes per corner) which should provide a bit more wind resistance. Time will tell The handle is also pretty cheap bare molded plastic, but again for the price I can't complain much I miss my old Nike golf umbrella that had thick rubber/plastic spokes that never broke, and a rubberised handle... which was left on a bus. Anyway this is probably a good enough umbrella to replace it.
