I have gone through it diligently, it does help, but by no means replaces the RSGB handbooks. Together they work better. I do appreciate the revision questions and the 3 sample papers in the back, the reference section is very good, it helps if you are doing mock papers at home because it has the information sheets provided in the exams. In my opinion the sample questions are harder than the papers provided on the RSGB website, so do bear that in mind if you have trouble with them. All good practice though. I am a little suspicious that some of the questions are unanswerable, they're so hard, but that could be me, they are certainly a challenge! I would recommend to get this book if you are studying for exams. Review: The excellent "Amateur Radio Exam Secrets" - it's really worth buying this book. - This book is really great - to anyone doing the foundation, intermediate, or advanced - I'd recommend you buy this. It covers loads of stuff that's in the other books, but it does it in a different way, so that you almost feel like you're reading new material. In some cases it goes into topics in more depth than the other books - oh, and (quite importantly) it has a load of test questions (for each exam level). If you want to pass, I'd recommend it. (Just be aware that the advanced exam changes in 2018 - so there may be a revised version of this coming soon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helps you through *by N***. on 28 February 2019* I have now passed all three exams first time and this manual helps you through. Be warned though the level of work required to pass the advanced exam is massively different than passing the previous two exams. Personally I found the first two exams quite easy and passed them without particular effort, the advanced exam is presented and studied at a whole new level and must not be undertaken lightly. To be confident of a pass I estimate I spent over 200 hours of study and a radio club cram session before undertaking the exam.
