They are really soft and the quality was better than I expected for the price, especially given this product comes with two wrap-around knee heat pads. The straps allow me to wrap the heat pad around my knee and secure it in place where the pain is at its worst which really helps with stiffness and soreness and saves me from having to hold the heat pad in place. The straps are long enough too for all body shapes and sizes. I usually heat in the microwave for about 90 seconds to get 20-25 minutes of heat. The only issue I found is that you can't walk around easily with the knee pad on, so I only use it while sitting or lying down. Overall, I highly recommend this product.
