My radio reception is vastly improved. Before on auto detect stations, I could only get 2 or 3 stations now I get all 24 stations populated. Direct screw off screw on replacement. Does not fit flush, so you keep screwing the ariel down further than where you think it will stop. Eventually it goes tight and stops, slightly crushing the base of the ariel, see picture. It looks good and is slightly shorter than the original ariel.
