I can't speak to its waterproof quality as I've been fortunate enough to get a lift to and from work most days, avoiding the rain with which the west of Scotland is so familiar. Lastly in terms of my own priorities, several colleagues and even pupils in the school I'm working in just now have commented on what a lovely leather bag I have. This bag cost more than I would usually want to pay for one but I have been entirely happy with it so far and I do think that it will last long enough to have justified the cost. I give it a B due to not rolling the exposed edges on some of the areas and not double stitching it under, and also splicing some of the leather straps together instead of using one whole piece. Bound to be rubbish but I couldn't have been more wrong. The leather is thick, the item is well made and a good size. I am really pleased with this rucksack and will be using it when travelling. If I'm being picky, it could do with being slightly wider to balance it out, but once it's softened up and worn in it will be fine. Delivery was not great, the rucksack was folded into a clear plastic bag so you could see the item. That's fine, except when the delivery driver leaves it on your front door step because your out! Thankfully it wasn't nicked.
