Significantly cheaper then the so called replacement with a 'special' base!Easily covers previous fitting holes. May need a little paint if you've painted the ceiling after fitting the original.Simple to rewire to new base. blue to blue, brown to brown, white to white. Battery connection not needed.This is technical a replacement so why they say you have to use an electrician I have no idea... Not like I'm fitting a new circuit...
