This extension works very well with the Lindam Easy Fit Plus Delux pressure fit safety gate. I actually bought 2 of these 28cm extensions for either side of the gate and they fitted perfectly in my wide hallway which is about 128cm wide. They are being used to stop my puppy getting near the front door. Excellent quality and easy to fit on to the gate, its obvious which extension connector goes into the top and bottom. You need a flat blade screwdriver to wedge out the end bits of plastic on your original gate, which you will keep to put into the ends of the extension before you finally put the pressure fit bolts back in the end. The diagrams on the instruction booklet are excellent. I found one of the extension connectors a bit of a tight squeeze to fit in but just gently used a rubber mallet which easily solved the problem. The gate plus the 28cm extension at either side is very sturdy indeed (I was concerned it would be wobbly because of the width but its not at all due to the pressure fit). I'm just so relieved to have found these extensions to fit my wide hallway in order to stop my puppy getting out.

Does the job. No instructions to fit. Have to use common sense while installing to the other one. Need to be a bit longer screws. Installer was panicking if he over screwed it

We've got Lindham stair-gates but have no idea on the exact model as they're used and don't seem to say on them so I took a risk buying both a 7cm & 14cm extension. Thankfully they fit and work so all good.Initially it didn't make sense to me how they fit together as I only had the picture on the box to go by which is very misleading, you have to take the plastic plugs out of the existing stair-gates which are easy to mangle as they're soft plastic, thankfully wifey worked this out.The main issue we had is that the bottom just doesn't fit snugly and sticks out but it still holds perfectly well.

The good, the bad and, sometimes, the ugly are included without favour or obligation.This review is based on my personal opinions gleaned as a result of decades of experiences in a professional occupation, as a consumer, a property owner and raising a family.REVIEW ON LINDAM 28cm SAFETY GATE EXTENSION.This is sold through Amazon as a "prime" item at a cost of £16:00 (July 2017)Prime items come with a promise of included next day delivery.You cannot rely on the next day delivery promise.There is no indication as to any potential additional postage charges applicable to non prime members.I am a Prime member. My extension was needed very quickly and was not delivered as promised. Two days.The Extension comes in a product marked cardboard box. There are no installation instructions on the box.They are on a leaflet which is very poorly cobbled together. There is also a tin spanner, useless, much too small to afford the tension needed. There are also a couple of end cups.The frame matches the height of the gate. It is a solid and weighty piece of metal finished in a smooth white plasticised coating.That said, A little common sense coupled with experience had the gate plus extension in about 10 minutes. A spare hand would half this time.The first thing to do is decide which side of the gate you want the extension to be on.If, as in my pictures you have a wall, set it up to open the gate against the wall. That puts it out of the way for access and egress.Remove the plastic infills from the extension is to be added, put the extension joiners into the same holes from which you just removed the infills.Put the infills into the unused side of the extension.Place the tightening nuts and feet, supplied with the gate into the four infills, two at either end, top and bottom.Ensure level and upright with a spirit level, not supplied.I suggest using a couple of adjustable spanners for the nut tightening.The spanner supplied with the gate is rubbish at best.OVERALL,Very easy to attach to the gate and install. Bought at this source at this price easily represents the best value I could find. Delivery, (even late as it was) is a bonus.All parts fitted as they should. They need to be a little tight and this is the case. Once assembled they are not designed for easy removal but a flat head screwdriver and a tack hammer would get them out if need be.I would not hesitate to buy this again.FITTING PROPERLY IS THE KEY.I hope that this review has been of assistance to you the potential buyer. Fit for purpose

Easy to use extension needed for stair gate.

Was disappointed by this as, I had brought the like new version off Amazon and to my surprise I couldn’t find it for roughly a week as it had missing part and incorrect fittings to connect it to my baby gate. Once the brand had sorted the error was quickly put together and put up.

This stair gate extension does the job as the gate unit is too narrow for an ‘average’ stairway. Check the height of your gate before ordering . I believe different width extensions are avilable

Produit conforme, solide et facile à monter.

Insieme al cancello che ho acquistato come regalo è stato indispensabile. Le misure erano corrette, senza l'aggiunta non sarebbe stato possibile montarlo. Buon materiale.

Se adapta muy bien. No me gustó que llegara con una etiqueta en la que se veía parte del nombre de lo que parecía la persona que lo había devuelto pero estaban todas las piezas y en perfecto estado.

Doet wat het moet doen

Wir haben das Gitter mit Erweiterung jetzt seit 3 Monaten im Einsatz und ich bin erstaunt dass es bei unseren Kindern ;-) immernoch im ganzen am Treppenaufgang hält. Es ist also wirklich sehr robust und hält einiges ohne dass es locker wird. Kann man auch mit großer Verlängerung sehr empfehlen.
