Has a lovely weight and feel to it and a nice long power cord. Bought to replace a DeWalt that had worn out after a few years and the repair guy recommended the Makita. You need to be aware that it is an SDS drill which means it takes SDS bits (which have grooves in the sides). If you want to use this with normal bits you need a chuck adapter- there are loads on Amazon for not much money. But SDS bits are far better if you are drilling into masonry or heavy timber as they don’t slip in the chuck.
