## Description

Product description Apevia’s Spirit line of power supplies bring form and function to your system, providing high efficiency with a basic black look that fits ATX computer builds. It supports the modern 12v 2.3 power standard with a single 12V rail setup. Boasting a silent 120mm black fan, it keeps everything inside the system cool. Larger ATX PSU casing on the Apevia Spirit improves airflow efficiency and heat dissipation. Comes with enough cables to connect all the devices you might need. The ATX-SP600 power supply is perfect for mid-range builds for both business and gaming use. IMPORTANT: The power supply will not power on simply by connecting the power cord to both the power supply and wall outlet. Ensure that all the power supply cables are properly connected to the PC for it to power on. IMPORTANT: The 8pin CPU connector can be split apart to become a 4+4 connector by pushing one end of the 4pin down and the other end of the 4pin up for motherboards that require a 4pin power connector. IMPORTANT: The 8pin PCI-E GPU connector can be split apart to become a 6+2 connector by pushing one end of the 6pin down and the other end of the 2pin up for graphics cards that require a 6pin power connector. IMPORTANT: The 24pin motherboard connector can be split apart to become a 20+4 connector by pushing one end of the 20pin down and the other end of the 4pin up for motherboards that require a 20pin power connector.

Review: A quality, affordable ATX size PSU - Bottomline up front: A quality unit from a known brand name that offers a really hard to beat watt-per-dollar value. Got this budget friendly PSU to replace the stock 300W psu in my Acer TC885 home PC in order to power a GPU upgrade, specifically a GTX 1060. The stock PSU did not have an 8 pin power connector, and I wasn't looking to spend a whole lot on upgrades. I've used Apevia in the past and have been happy with them, and so when I saw this and the price was right with overall good ratings, I decided to give it a go. The PSU arrived very quickly. The PSU is a simple black cased unit with a 120mm cooling fan and black fan grill, not the gawdy chrome kind. Per Apevia, the cooling is auto thermally controlled and has built in protections. The package had minimal contents...a double sided 1-page info/install sheet, a small bag of 4 knob style screws, a power cable to plug the PSU into the wall, and the PSU/cables itself, in a bubble wrap bag. I attached an unboxing video so you can see exactly what came in the box. Although the case is quite ordinary looking, it looked and "felt" to be well built. Holding the PSU, it does have some decent weight to it, and looking inside the grate and grills, you can see the components within, which all looked (and smelled) new. (I know, I know...a visual and smell test is not an objective or scientific means to test quality LOL!!!) All in all, it looked like a quality, if not cosmetically boring unit. The PSU fit in my Acer TC885 without any issue, and everything plugged up nicely. It's also very nice that the cables are all sleeved...something that more expensive units don't offer. I only needed a few of the plugs, so once all those were plugged in, I just used a velcro strap to re-bundle the rest of the unused cables and tucked them as nicely as possible inside the PC. Since it's a non-modular unit, you're unfortunately stuck with having excess cables to have to figure out how to store/tuck away in your build. Anyway, the PSU fired up with the PC without any issue. After running my PC for a while and doing a few tests to purposely draw power (benchmarking, graphic/CPU intense gaming, etc), the PSU is running smoothly. I've been running this PSU on my PC, used daily for everyday computing and some light gaming, for over a week now without any issues. So far, so good! At 600W, it's a bit overkill for my PC (i3-9100, 16GB RAM, and now a GTX 1060 GPU), but it's hard to beat the price value this unit offers, as 500W units were actually selling for more!! The only "strikes" I can think of are (1) no 80+ rating and (2) it's not on the A through C PSU tier list. But with regards to the PSU tier list, at least it's not one that's listed on the "avoid" or "replace immediately" tiers! Overall, initial impressions are: this is a quality, solidly built unit from a known brand name that is easy on your wallet. Should anything change, I'll post an update.
Review: great for BUDGET vintage builds and new builds. - just installed today no issues but i have installed many power supplies in my day. i have a PC i bilt in 2019 using OLD TECH. asus rampage 3 extreme gen 1 i7 990x tri channel ddr3 ram. 1660 super. win 10. its been an amazing computer still runs most everything fine and live stream with it. its in a HAF-x case. a BIG case. power supply mounts to the bottom. the main cpu power and fan power at top of the mobo was a far reach. barely reached to plug in and i had to go over my video card instead of through back of the case. so others who have large case like me similar build just note. it is 3 inches short of going through the back of your cases. everything else was far long enough. with many inches to spare. so maybe if the manufacture reads this. extend the 8 plug main cpu fan power for users. its a great price for someone reviving a old vintage machine on a budget. NOW these types of reviews are about time. this is day 1 i just installed it. its quiet. no power issues as of yet. i will come back update in 6 months and 1 year and so on. so if this company sticks around others know the quality of product. so far they are worth a 5 star. im not going to doc a star cause of a few inches in wires. i will be buying another power supply soon for another pc. and i will be back to buy this again. for a much newer machine like 2022 new. the negative reviews i read when was buying are worth ignoring. i think possible 1 off bad products. or installed wrong or had other issues. i had a 750 watt power supply in here prior. i dont game no more but run cad. so still work the video card and live stream. so we see under a load test later.

A: Yes it worked with my gtx 3060

**Q: Would this support 220V please?**
A: Yes there is a switch for 110v and 220v. I have no issues with this unit so far as I have been using it since the last 2 and a half months. One day the fan made a sound and I restarted my PC and it was gone, I did experience this on my previous Thermaltake so its not an issue. I do not recommend overclocking on this PSU unless you know what you are doing.

**Q: What's the wattage rating for the PCIe cable?**
A: You can use this PSU for RTX3060 GPU's/AMD equivalent and below.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Solid Budget Power Supply That Gets the Job Done
*by A***D on February 9, 2026*

Putting together a build on a budget can be tricky, so reliability was my main concern with this power supply. Setup was straightforward, and it powered everything up without issues right away. It’s been running steadily, and I haven’t had any random shutdowns or weird behavior. The fan stays pretty quiet, which I honestly didn’t expect at this price point. Even under load, it hasn’t been distracting, and the airflow seems to do its job without sounding like a jet engine. Cable connections were easy to work with and didn’t feel cheap or loose. For a basic build or a replacement PSU, this is a solid option if you’re not looking for anything fancy. It does what it’s supposed to do, runs quietly, and offers good value for the price. A dependable choice if you want something simple and functional.
